Terrebonne Police Headquarters, completed in 2024, brings together the services of three municipalities that were previously scattered across aging facilities. Set at the heart of a wooded site, the project creates a modern workplace where architecture and nature are in constant dialogue.

The building envelope establishes a distinctive identity: a ground-anchored base of frosted glass, topped by a structure of aluminum fins that appears to float thanks to a bold cantilever. The interior courtyard turns the three-storey building into a series of light-filled spaces, multiplying views onto the surrounding landscape.

At the heart of the building, a monumental walnut staircase rises through the floors and energizes vertical circulation. This sculptural feature becomes both a passageway and a gathering place, shaping the spatial experience.

Visible from the offices, the green roof, geothermal system, and electric vehicle charging stations align the building with the City of Terrebonne’s environmental ambitions.
