Pointe-de-Longueuil

Canada Lands Company

Developed in consortium with CCxA for the Canada Lands Company, the Pointe-de-Longueuil project reimagines a remarkable site that has long remained at the city’s edge. The master plan establishes a cohesive vision centered on quality of life, with nearly 30% of the area dedicated to natural landscapes and generous access to the riverfront. The proposal includes close to 5,000 residential units, 20% of which are non-market housing, reinforcing social diversity and long-term affordability within a thoughtfully planned urban framework.

Conceived at a human scale, the Longue-Rive district is characterized by a carefully calibrated density and a robust civic and mobility infrastructure. An elementary school, a mobility hub, and an integrated network of active transportation routes support everyday life and contribute to a vibrant, connected neighborhood. This ambitious project highlights the transformative potential of large-scale urban design when complementary expertise is brought together in service of the community.
